Following the title track ‚Sternensegler‘ and ‚In der Hand‘, the new song represents the third advance release from an album that promises to open a significant new chapter in the band’s storied history.

The album, due on 11 September 2026 via Napalm Records, is the first SCHANDMAUL record to feature vocalist Till Herence, who stepped in live from 2024 onwards after founding member and bandleader Thomas Lindner was forced to step back from front-of-stage vocal duties due to illness. Lindner remains a central creative force in the group, contributing keyboards, acoustic guitar and accordion.

‚An beiden Enden‘ fits seamlessly into the sonic landscape of ‚Sternensegler‘, delivering infectious folk-rock melodies alongside an uplifting, life-affirming message. The song encourages listeners to seize the moment, embrace opportunity and pursue their passions with full conviction.

The eleven-track main album spans a wide emotional range, from the anthemic opener ‚Nimm alles mit‘ through to the closing duet ‚Zwei Raben‘, which features Laura Fella of FAUN. Select editions will also include a bonus album featuring acoustic harp versions of seven tracks, plus ‚Räuber und Narren‘, a collaboration with SUBWAY TO SALLY. A major European tour, the Sternensegler Tour 2027, is scheduled to begin in February 2027.
