Detroit metalcore legends WALLS OF JERICHO are back with a vengeance, announcing their first studio album in a decade. ‚System Error: Humanity‘ will be released on November 13, 2026 via Napalm Records, accompanied by the explosive lead single and official music video ‚The Ascent‘.Metalcore would look considerably different without the influence of Detroit’s WALLS OF JERICHO. With genre-defining records such as ‚The Bound Feed The Gagged‘ (1999) and ‚All Hail The Dead‘ (2004), the band left an indelible mark on the underground scene, later cementing their international reputation with ‚With Devils Amongst Us All‘ (2006) and ‚The American Dream‘ (2008).
Now, after years of relentless touring and celebrated appearances at festivals including Louder Than Life, Hellfest, and Furnace Fest, WALLS OF JERICHO return with their highly anticipated new studio album ‚System Error: Humanity‘, due November 13, 2026 via Napalm Records. Recorded with legendary producer and Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou — known for his work with NAILS, Code Orange, and Every Time I Die — the record captures the raw, unfiltered ferocity of the band’s live performances while delivering a punishing modern sound.
The album opens with the furious ‚True Til‘ Death‘ and charges through fifteen tracks of dissonant riffs, crushing breakdowns, and vocalist Candace Buckingham’s signature ferocious delivery. Standout moments include the blistering ‚The Ascent‘ and ‚Untouchable‘, alongside high-profile guest appearances from Randy Blythe of Lamb of God on ‚Broken Mouths Can’t Speak‘ and Guy Kozowyk of The Red Chord on the title track ‚Humanity‘. Thematically, the album confronts conformity, self-determination, and societal responsibility, calling listeners to reclaim their identity in a fractured world.
‚System Error: Humanity‘ will be available in multiple formats including limited vinyl variants, CD Digipak, and digital download. The lead single ‚The Ascent‘ and its official music video are available now.
