The British heavy metal legends Saxon release „Medusa“, the second single from their upcoming studio album „Gods of Thunder“, which will be released on 22. January 2027 on Silver Lining Music.
Inspired by the frightening Gorgone from Greek mythology, whose gaze could make mortals solidify to stone, „Medusa“ strikes with a razor-sharp reef and classic heavy metal power. Led by Biff Byford’s unmistakable singing, Saxon brings the ancient legend to life – with a sound that strikes like a flash from the gods themselves.
„A trip into the world of Greek mythology: ‚Medusa‘ – a creature that could make you freeze to stone with a single look! Epic metal, an epic story! Have fun with it!”, Biff Byford exclaims enthusiastically.
