The playthrough offers an in-depth look at the intricate riff construction and technical precision that define the track, giving fans an early window into the musical world of the new album.
Speaking about the choice of „Kingdom Of Dreams“ as the lead single, CARNATION explained that the track was selected for its ability to represent the album from a unique angle. Built around a mid-tempo groove anchored by a memorable main riff, the song balances accessibility with intensity, while also hinting at the atmospheric depth and dynamic range that runs throughout „Symphony In Flesh“. According to the band, it serves as an ideal introduction without giving too much away.
With „Symphony In Flesh“, CARNATION set out to reconnect with the raw energy and directness of their earlier work while simultaneously pushing their songwriting and production to new heights. The result is described as their most cohesive and fully realized record to date, combining tight arrangements, uncompromising heaviness, and a sharper sense of identity.
The album was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Yarne Heylen at Project Zero Studio and Y-Productions, with artwork handled by Peter Sallai. The nine-track release features songs including „Blackmouth“, „Flesh-Eating Frenzy“, „Labyrinth of Silence“, and „Legacy of the Forefathers“. Pre-orders are currently open.
