The leading German folk-rock band SCHANDMAUL has released a music video for their new single “Nosferatu”, with the production striking a balance between humour and a sense of the macabre. With lyrics inspired by Bram Stoker’s “Dracula”, SCHANDMAUL sing of loneliness and the grief of losing a life. In the music video, the band tackles this essentially serious subject matter with a light-hearted wink, telling the story of a bloodsucker longing for the sun and his sole ally – portrayed by singer Till Herence and band leader Thomas Lindner.

Following ‘Sternensegler’, ‘In der Hand’ and ‘An beiden Enden’, ‘Nosferatu’ is the fourth single from the upcoming album Sternensegler, which SCHANDMAUL will release on 11 September 2026 via Napalm Records. With their first album featuring singer Till Herence, the band is opening a new chapter and once again demonstrating their unmistakable blend of catchy melodies, emotional depth and infectious energy.
