Release date: October 16, 2026 | Label: Dusktone
Italian melodic death/doom metal band Shores of Null release their fifth studio album, Homesick, on October 16, 2026, marking their first release through Dusktone.
The album combines the band’s signature blend of doom, gothic, blackened and melodic death metal with emotional depth and a focus on refined songwriting. Conceived as a cohesive listening experience, Homesick explores longing, loss, anger, vulnerability and the search for belonging.
According to the band, the album represents their most mature and focused work to date. Its songs move between crushing heaviness and fragile introspection, complemented by melodies that underline the emotional contrasts at the heart of the record.
Two special guest appearances add further depth to the album. Natalie Koskinen of Shape of Despair contributes vocals to The Numbing Void, while Shaun MacGowan of My Dying Bride joins the band on violin across several tracks.
With Homesick, Shores of Null expand their established musical identity while remaining true to the dark and emotionally charged sound they have developed over more than a decade.
