The Norwegian purveyors of True Norwegian Balkan Metal have announced their tenth studio album, ‚Trollywood‘, scheduled for release on November 6, 2026 through Reaper Entertainment.
With ‚Trollywood‘, TROLLFEST transport listeners into a bizarre world where trolls chase fame, Hollywood myths are mercilessly lampooned, and the entertainment industry devours itself. The album delivers the band’s signature blend of heavy metal, infectious folk melodies, monumental choirs, and a generous dose of absurdist humour. Musically, it marks a return to a harder and more aggressive sound, combining everything fans love about TROLLFEST while pushing the band’s unique musical universe further than ever before. Fat riffs, epic arrangements, unbridled energy, and the trademark chaos that defines TROLLFEST make ‚Trollywood‘ arguably the most ambitious record in the band’s catalogue.
The first taste of the album comes in the form of lead single ‚Day Drinking‘, dropping on August 7, 2026. Packed with irresistible hooks and festival-ready energy, the track serves as the perfect summer soundtrack in true TROLLFEST fashion.
To mark the single release, ‚Day Drinking‘ will also appear as a strictly limited yellow 7-inch vinyl, available exclusively at Summer Breeze Open Air. Limited to just 100 copies worldwide, the B-side features the previously unreleased track ‚Fire Fine Firfisler‘, making it the first ever physical single release in TROLLFEST’s history and an instant collector’s item.
‚Trollywood‘ features eleven tracks including ‚Troll Brigade‘, ‚Claiming the Walk of Fame‘, ‚The Real Breakthrough‘, and ‚The Troll Oscars‘.
