Canadian melodic hard rock outfit STORM FORCE have announced their sophomore album ‚Truth‘, set for release on August 14th via BraveWords Records. The self-titled lead single is already streaming, and a free Bandcamp Listening Party has been scheduled for August 12th. The ten-track record marks a bold step forward from the band’s 2020 debut ‚Age of Fear‘.STORM FORCE, the Canadian melodic hard rock band founded by guitarist and BRIGHTON ROCK veteran Greg Fraser, have confirmed the release of their second album, ‚Truth‘, arriving August 14th through BraveWords Records. The announcement comes alongside the immediate availability of the title track as the debut single, now streaming and available for purchase via Bandcamp.
The album represents a significant evolution for STORM FORCE, who made their debut in 2020 with ‚Age of Fear‘ on Escape Music — a record that earned widespread praise from melodic rock fans and press for its driving guitars, anthemic choruses, and emotionally charged songwriting. With ‚Truth‘, the band have raised the stakes on every front.
A key development in the making of the new record was the addition of drummer Roger Banks, whose energy and intensity brought a fresh dimension to the group’s sound. The ten-song collection was produced and mixed by Darius Szczepaniak at Strada XR Atmos Studio in Mississauga, Ontario, with tracking completed at Storce Recording in Niagara Falls. Additional contributions include keyboards from Mike „Benny“ Bedrosian and Ray Coburn, as well as cello from Margaret Maria on the track ‚I Wasn’t Finished Loving You‘.
Drawing on influences including WHITESNAKE, DOKKEN, SCORPIONS, and BON JOVI, STORM FORCE deliver arena-ready rock built on soaring vocals from Patrick Gagliardi, powerful riffs from Fraser, and a tight rhythm section rounded out by bassist Mike Berardelli. All songs were co-written by Gagliardi and Fraser, with the exception of ‚Saviour‘, penned solely by Fraser.
