It’s a milestone year: Neuborn Open Air Festival turns 20 in 2026 – and they’re celebrating across three nights. From August 27–29, the Neuborn grounds in Wörrstadt near Mainz once again become home to metal, hard rock and rock, with the same intimate atmosphere that’s defined the NOAF since 2005.
Warm-Up Thursday (Aug 27): The festival kicks off with a night dedicated to legendary tribute shows. On the bill: Subliminal Verses (Slipknot Tribute Show), Mothership (Led Zeppelin Tribute) and Battle Against The Empire (Rage Against The Machine Tribute). Three bands, three legends – the perfect way to ease into the weekend.
Friday (Aug 28): Skindred, Paleface Swiss, Grave Digger (with „Tunes Of War“ – 30 Years Anniversary Set), Elwood Stray, Nervosa and Wedge.
Saturday (Aug 29): Saxon, Grand Magus, The Real McKenzies, Chapel Of Disease, March and Kryn.
With Skindred and Saxon topping the bill and Grave Digger celebrating their anniversary album in full, there’s plenty to look forward to. Bonus: parking and a visit to the nearby Wörrstadt open-air pool are included in the ticket price. Tickets start at €85.
