PMAD unleashes new single ‚NineFortyFive‘ ahead of album drop

Irish post-punk artist PMAD returns with ‚NineFortyFive‘, the latest single taken from the forthcoming album ‚1+1=-1‘ via Zedakube Records. The track blends dark alternative textures with raw post-punk intensity, reflecting on time, uncertainty and the search for hope in turbulent times. The single is set for release on 6 June 2026.PMAD, the post-punk and gothic indie rock project of Irish artist Paul Dillon from Portumna, Co. Galway, has unveiled ‚NineFortyFive‘, the third single to be lifted from the forthcoming album ‚1+1=-1‘, due via Zedakube Records on 6 June 2026.

Following previous singles ‚Feed‘ and ‚Blood‘, ‚NineFortyFive‘ continues the thematic arc of an album that confronts survival, truth, global unrest and the fractured nature of modern existence. The track runs at three minutes and thirty-three seconds and draws the listener into a brooding sonic landscape shaped by powerful rhythms, stark vocal delivery and a blend of post-punk urgency with gothic and metallic undertones.

PMAD cites the track as a reflection on the relentless passage of time and the difficulty of holding onto truth in an era saturated with noise and misinformation. Dark yet searching, ‚NineFortyFive‘ reaches for meaning without offering easy resolution, a quality consistent with the artist’s broader catalogue.

Drawing comparisons to THE THE, THE CURE, KILLING JOKE and RAMMSTEIN, PMAD has built a reputation for emotionally charged music that operates at the intersection of the intimate and the cinematic. The ‚1+1=-1‘ album will be available in full on vinyl, CD and download via Bandcamp, with streaming platforms receiving the record gradually through single releases.

Production on the project was handled by Protonaut Studios, and all tracks are cleared for radio play. ‚NineFortyFive‘ is available to media ahead of its official airplay embargo date of 6 June 2026.
