UWE LULIS PROJECT, the brainchild of legendary guitarist Uwe Lulis (ACCEPT, GRAVE DIGGER, REBELLION), releases its debut album ‚Analog‘ on May 29, 2026. The band also premieres the atmospheric horror single ‚Midnight in the Night of Ghosts‘, accompanied by a comic-strip-based music video.UWE LULIS PROJECT, founded in 2020 during the pandemic lockdown, has emerged as a compelling new force in rock and metal. The project was born when guitarist Uwe Lulis — known for his long tenures with ACCEPT, GRAVE DIGGER, and REBELLION — chose to redirect his creative energy toward his own compositions. Following his departure from ACCEPT in 2025, after more than a decade as a member, the project moved firmly to the forefront of his artistic focus.
Based in the Frankfurt area, the band comprises Uwe Lulis on guitar, vocals, keyboards and programming, Erdmann Görg on vocals, Cord Kunze on bass, and Katharina Kunnert on drums, vocals and piano. Their sound moves confidently between rock and metal — a style the band itself describes as Rock 2.0 — rooted in authentic, handcrafted musicianship with no AI involvement and no compromise on live performance.
The debut album ‚Analog‘, released May 29, 2026 on CD, vinyl and cassette, is a deliberate statement against sterile modern production. Self-produced by Uwe Lulis and featuring the newly developed Lulis Signature Amp by Tube Workshop Amplification, the record embraces controlled imperfection to deliver warmth, energy and character. Electronic elements are used sparingly, adding depth without obscuring the organic foundation.
A standout track is ‚Faust‘, a duet featuring ASP as Mephistopheles alongside Erdmann Görg, inspired by Goethe’s classic study scene. The new single ‚Midnight in the Night of Ghosts‘ delivers dark, cinematic atmosphere with cello and piano textures, its video built entirely from comic strips by Berlin artist Marija Hornshaw.
Live shows at clubs and festivals are planned for autumn 2026, with a confirmed date on January 8, 2027 in Hamburg alongside IRON SAVIOUR.
