UWE LULIS PROJECT, the brainchild of veteran guitarist Uwe Lulis known for his work with ACCEPT, GRAVE DIGGER, and REBELLION, is set to release its debut album ‚Analog‘ on May 29, 2026. To mark the occasion, the Frankfurt-based four-piece has unveiled a video premiere for the haunting new track ‚Midnight in the Night of Ghosts‘.UWE LULIS PROJECT is set to release its debut album ‚Analog‘ on May 29, 2026, via CD, vinyl, and cassette — a deliberate statement in favour of handcrafted rock in the modern age. The project was founded in 2020 by guitarist Uwe Lulis, a seasoned musician best known for his tenures in ACCEPT, GRAVE DIGGER, and REBELLION. Having departed ACCEPT in 2025 after more than a decade of membership, Lulis turned his full attention to this long-gestating creative endeavour.
Based in the Frankfurt area, the band’s lineup features Erdmann Görg on vocals, Cord Kunze on bass, and Katharina ‚Knattadrum‘ Kunnert on drums and piano. Their collective sound — described by the band itself as ‚Rock 2.0‘ — sits firmly at the intersection of hard rock and heavy metal, prioritising raw energy over studio polish. The album was produced by Lulis himself and recorded without the use of artificial intelligence, featuring real drums and live performances throughout.
A notable album highlight is the track ‚Faust‘, a collaboration with ASP, in which ASP portrays Mephistopheles in a vocal duel with Erdmann Görg, drawing from Goethe’s classic text. The sonic backbone of ‚Analog‘ is partly shaped by the newly developed Lulis Signature Amp by Tube Workshop Amplification, lending the record its warm and powerful guitar tone.
The latest single, ‚Midnight in the Night of Ghosts‘, is a darkly atmospheric horror track accompanied by a comic strip-based video created by Berlin artist Marija Hornshaw. Live shows are planned for autumn 2026, with a confirmed date on January 8, 2027 in Hamburg alongside IRON SAVIOUR.
