AMBERIAN DAWN drop new single ‚Unchained‘ ahead of album ‚Temptation’s Gates‘

Finnish symphonic metal outfit AMBERIAN DAWN have unveiled their third single ‚Unchained‘, taken from their forthcoming album ‚Temptation’s Gates‘, due June 26, 2026 via Napalm Records. The track marks a bold new chapter for the band, featuring new vocalist Nicole Willerton who delivers both angelic soprano and powerful growls — a first in AMBERIAN DAWN history.Finnish symphonic metal veterans AMBERIAN DAWN are stepping boldly into new territory with ‚Unchained‘, the third single from their highly anticipated album ‚Temptation’s Gates‘, set for release on June 26, 2026 via Napalm Records. The record marks the band’s first full-length effort with new vocalist Nicole Willerton, and the latest single makes abundantly clear that AMBERIAN DAWN are not content to rest on their considerable laurels.

Built around a driving, riff-centric foundation championed by founding guitarist and primary composer Tuomas Seppälä, ‚Unchained‘ pushes AMBERIAN DAWN into rawer, more dynamic terrain. Willerton rises to the challenge with commanding versatility, moving fluidly between ethereal, seraphic passages and forceful growls — a vocal dimension entirely new to the AMBERIAN DAWN catalogue. The result is a track that feels simultaneously fresh and true to the band’s symphonic identity.

Seppälä describes the writing process as instinctive and energising, noting that the central riff emerged quickly and shaped everything that followed, while guitarist Emil Pohjalainen contributed what the composer calls a world-class solo. Willerton, for her part, has described ‚Unchained‘ as a meditation on liberation from inner pain and the courage required to release one’s demons.

‚Temptation’s Gates‘ will be available across multiple formats, including a strictly limited run of 100 copies on marbled translucent red-black gatefold vinyl, standard black vinyl, CD digipak, and digital. Pre-orders are open now through Napalm Records.
