ARROGANZ unleash seventh album ‚Death Doom Punks‘ on Testimony Records

German death doom trio ARROGANZ have released their seventh full-length album, ‚Death Doom Punks‘, via Testimony Records on May 15, 2026. Recorded as a duo before welcoming new guitarist -B- into the fold, the record marks a deliberate step toward a more brutal and uncompromising sound. Featuring guest vocals from Zingultus of ENDSTILLE and NAGELFAR, the album is described by the band as nothing short of a rebirth.ARROGANZ have returned with their seventh studio album, ‚Death Doom Punks‘, released on May 15, 2026 via Testimony Records. The East German trio from Cottbus, active since 2008, has channelled over 15 years of experience into what they describe as their most direct and brutal record to date.

The album was conceived and recorded primarily as a duo, with frontman -K- handling vocals, bass, and guitars alongside drummer -T-. The stripped-back approach proved to be a catalyst for a rawer, more confrontational sound rooted firmly in old school death metal, while retaining the band’s characteristic blend of black, thrash, punk, and doom influences. New guitarist -B-, a longtime friend of the group, joined during the recording process and has since become a full member of the live lineup.

Engineering, mixing, and mastering duties were handled by Timo Rotten at Dungeon Soul Studios in Torgau and Berlin, a collaborator familiar with the ARROGANZ camp. The result is a sonically powerful record that prioritises organic brutality over polished convention. Cover artwork and layout were created by artist Johnny Doe.

Guest vocals on the track ‚Incubus‘ Veins‘ were contributed by Zingultus, known for his work with ENDSTILLE and NAGELFAR, adding another layer of menace to an already unrelenting tracklist. The nine-track album is available on limited galaxy effect orange and black vinyl, standard black vinyl, cassette, and Jewelcase CD.

To support the release, ARROGANZ will embark on the ‚Death Doom Punk’s Not Dead‘ tour across Germany throughout May 2026, taking in cities including Hamburg, Frankfurt, Kiel, and Chemnitz.
