EPICA drop live video ‚Cross The Divide‘ from sold-out Ziggo Dome show

Symphonic metal titans EPICA have unveiled a live video for ‚Cross The Divide‘, captured at their record-breaking sold-out headline show at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome earlier this year. The performance, drawn from their critically acclaimed ninth studio album Aspiral, saw the band command a crowd of 10,000 fans at the largest headline show of their career.EPICA have released a new live video for ‚Cross The Divide (Live At Ziggo Dome Amsterdam)‘, taken from their latest studio album Aspiral. The footage was captured during the band’s landmark sold-out headline performance at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, where they played to 10,000 fans in what stands as the biggest headline show of their career to date.

The release follows the conclusion of their colossal Arcane Dimensions Tour, which saw EPICA share the stage with AMARANTHE and Charlotte Wessels across a sweeping run of dates. ‚Cross The Divide‘ serves as the opening track on Aspiral, EPICA’s ninth studio record, an album that represents a significant creative milestone for the Dutch symphonic metal outfit.

Aspiral was conceived partly through the inspiration of bassist Rob van der Loo, who during the first Covid lockdown encountered a documentary about Polish sculptor Stanislaw Szukalski. Moved by the depth and artistry of Szukalski’s work, van der Loo began writing music as imagined soundtracks to the sculptures, a project that ultimately evolved into the full EPICA album.

The record reflects a band operating with renewed unity and creative confidence, with every member contributing ideas and songwriting experience to produce what many consider their most cohesive and personally defining work to date.

Looking ahead, EPICA have an extensive touring schedule confirmed through 2026 and into 2027, including festival appearances across Europe, a run of Asian dates, and three already sold-out nights at the Royal Theatre Carré in Amsterdam in January 2027.
