South Tyrolean rock veterans UNANTASTBAR are entering their last festival season before an extended band hiatus, releasing a new video single as a heartfelt farewell to fans and crew. The band’s tenth studio album ‚FÜR IMMER WIR‘ reached number two on the official German album charts, and their upcoming shows include headline festival slots and a support date on the Böhse Onkelz tour.UNANTASTBAR, the South Tyrolean rock outfit with over two decades of band history, are stepping into what will be their final festival summer before an extended hiatus. The announcement comes on the heels of a triumphant run supporting their tenth studio album ‚FÜR IMMER WIR‘, which debuted at number two on the official German album charts. The FÜR IMMER WIR TOUR concluded in mid-April with a celebrated finale at the Frühlings-Festival in Dächingen, following sold-out shows in Berlin, Regensburg, Braunschweig and Augsburg.
To mark the emotional close of this album cycle, UNANTASTBAR have released a new video for the single ‚Keiner kann mich ändern‘, described by the band as a manifesto for self-determination and inner freedom — a declaration aimed at everyone who refuses to conform to outside expectations. The track serves as both a love letter to the band’s loyal fanbase and a promise carried forward into the pause ahead.
The remaining live schedule is packed with significance. UNANTASTBAR will headline their own WIR LEBEN LAUT Festival in Loburg, Saxony-Anhalt, on 23 May 2026, where advance ticket sales have already surpassed all previous editions. Further appearances include the Alpen Flair Festival in their native South Tyrol, a support slot on the Böhse Onkelz tour in Vienna, and the G.O.N.D. Festival. The season closes with UNANTASTBAR’s own GEGEN DIE STILLE Festival in Sterzing on 28 and 29 August 2026 — an event that sold out within 44 hours and will feature Canadian rock act DANKO JONES as co-headliner. After more than 20 years of highs, chart successes, and relentless touring, UNANTASTBAR are signing off on their own terms.
