DRAGONFORCE welcome Alissa White-Gluz as new vocalist

DRAGONFORCE have announced Alissa White-Gluz as their new vocalist, marking a bold new chapter for the extreme power metal pioneers. The announcement coincides with the 20th anniversary of the landmark album Inhuman Rampage and its iconic single ‚Through the Fire and Flames‘. A new studio album is currently in the works, with extensive tour plans to follow.DRAGONFORCE have confirmed one of the most striking lineup developments in recent heavy metal history: Alissa White-Gluz joins the band as an additional vocalist, uniting two of the genre’s most formidable forces under one banner. The announcement marks the beginning of what the band describes as their biggest and most ambitious era to date.

The timing is deliberate and significant. DRAGONFORCE are celebrating the 20th anniversary of Inhuman Rampage, the 2006 album that introduced the band to millions of listeners worldwide thanks to the platinum hit ‚Through the Fire and Flames‘ — a track that spent 23 weeks on the Billboard 200 and became the legendary final boss of Guitar Hero III. With a tenth studio album currently in development and extensive tour dates to be revealed, the stage is set for a major chapter in the band’s history.

White-Gluz brings an extraordinary pedigree to the collaboration. With over two decades of stage experience spanning THE AGONIST, KAMELOT, ARCH ENEMY, and her newly formed project BLUE MEDUSA, she has amassed more than 2,000 live performances, 40-plus collaborations, and 60 music videos across multiple metal subgenres. Guitarist Herman Li described her addition as transformative, noting that her presence elevates every aspect of the band’s music.

DRAGONFORCE — founded in 1999 and operating between Los Angeles and London — have shared stages with Iron Maiden, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, and Slipknot, and have appeared in major gaming titles including Guitar Hero III, Fortnite Festival, and Despicable Me 4. The band’s current lineup features Herman Li and Sam Totman on guitar, Marc Hudson and Alissa White-Gluz on vocals, Alicia Vigil on bass, and Gee Anzalone on drums.
