FRANCK CARDUCCI drops new album ‚Sheeple‘ and announces EU tour

French progressive rock multi-instrumentalist FRANCK CARDUCCI has released his seventh studio album ‚Sheeple‘ and is set to embark on an extensive European tour alongside THE FANTASTIC SQUAD. The new record draws on influences from classic rock legends while delivering a sharp, theatrically charged commentary on modern self-righteousness.FRANCK CARDUCCI, the Lyon-born multi-instrumentalist and veteran of the European progressive rock scene, has released his seventh studio album ‚Sheeple‘ via Cherry Red Records. The record marks a bold new chapter for the artist, who has been a staple of the classic and prog rock circuit since his critically acclaimed debut ‚Oddity‘ in 2011.

Drawing clear inspiration from the likes of Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Led Zeppelin and Genesis, ‚Sheeple‘ is a conceptually rich, energetically driven collection that refuses to sit still. The album opens with the title track, a brief but pointed introduction that sets a wry, theatrically British tone, before launching into the lead single ‚Self-Righteousness‘, a hard-rocking broadside against moral grandstanding and intellectual tribalism. CARDUCCI describes the track as a sharp critique of those who believe they hold a monopoly on truth, delivered without preaching and without compromise.

A structural highlight of ‚Sheeple‘ is the three-part suite ‚Sweet Cassandra‘, woven throughout the tracklist in a way that provides emotional depth without disrupting the album’s momentum. The record closes with the bluesy ‚Do What You’re Told‘, a fittingly loose and swaggering finale.

Live, CARDUCCI is known for spectacular, prop-laden performances that incorporate rare instruments including a theremin, mellotron and didgeridoo, alongside his iconic double-necked ‚Goldy‘ bass-guitar hybrid. THE FANTASTIC SQUAD will accompany him on an extensive tour spanning France, Germany, the UK and the Netherlands through 2025 and into 2026. Fans of classic and progressive rock would do well to secure tickets early.
