Finnish symphonic metal veterans AMBERIAN DAWN are kicking off 2026 with a major announcement: Nicole Willerton, a Swedish-British vocalist, steps in as the band’s new frontwoman, replacing Capri, who parts ways due to scheduling conflicts. Founder Tuomas Seppälä bids a warm farewell to Capri while welcoming Willerton as an „incredibly versatile artist“ whose energy has already left a clear mark on the new material.
The ninth studio album Temptation’s Gates drops on June 26, 2026 via Napalm Records – and the title track makes the direction immediately clear: fast, epic, and uncompromising. Sweeping keyboard melodies, a classic guitar-vs-keyboard solo duel, and Willerton’s powerful voice deliver a first taste of a sound that feels rawer and more focused than anything the band has put out in recent years.
Lyrically, Willerton draws from dark sources – Baudelaire’s Les Fleurs du mal served as key inspiration for a song about inner desires, rebellion, and liberation.
