French Groove Death Metal outfit SICKMIND has unveiled the official video for „New God“, offering the first glimpse into their upcoming full-length album, „Babel Tower“, due out October 9, 2026.
Formerly known as SILICIUM, SICKMIND operates within a dark and dystopian groove death metal universe shaped by themes of collapse, desolation, and a world on the brink of extinction. Drawing on post-apocalyptic imagery and an atmosphere of impending doom, the band’s music explores the darker side of a civilization pushed to its limits.
„New God“ serves as a powerful introduction to the world of „Babel Tower“, combining crushing groove-driven riffs, dark atmospheres, and an uncompromising intensity. The accompanying video further brings SICKMIND’s dystopian vision to life, setting the tone for what promises to be the band’s most ambitious release to date.
