RAVAGED BY THE YETI have released a brutal lyric video for the title track of their forthcoming sophomore album ‚Snowbound Horror‘, due July 10, 2026 via Testimony Records. The clip, based on the cover artwork, offers a first full taste of the death metal trio’s highly anticipated follow-up to their acclaimed debut ‚Apex Predator‘.RAVAGED BY THE YETI are back with a vengeance. The frost-clad death metal trio have unveiled a lyric video for ‚Snowbound Horror‘, the title track of their forthcoming second full-length album, scheduled for release on July 10, 2026 through Testimony Records and distributed via SPKR.
The clip, created by Thomas Strater and rooted in the album’s striking cover artwork by Ivan S. Bragin, delivers a punishing introduction to what the band describes as slow, heavy, almost doom-laden riffing wrapped in deep growls and an ice-cold narrative of survival against a mythical predator.
Guitarist and primary songwriter Rogga Johansson offers this on the track: „This beast of a song is lashing out with a fierce, ice-cold story about being ended by the yeti. Always be wary where you dare to tread.“
With ‚Snowbound Horror‘, RAVAGED BY THE YETI present a revamped line-up featuring Johansson on guitars and vocals, American bassist Mike Borders — a veteran of MASSACRE — and British drummer Jon Rudin, with whom Johansson had previously collaborated in MONSTROUS. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Håkan Stuvemark at Necrotic Audio Productions in Ransta, Sweden.
The eleven-track record will be available as a limited splatter white and red vinyl LP (250 copies), standard black vinyl LP, and Jewelcase CD. Pre-orders are open now via the SPKR store.
