LYRRE Drop Sophomore Album ‚Nothing Is Promised‘

Polish metal outfit LYRRE have released their second full-length album, ‚Nothing Is Promised‘, on May 7th, 2026. The record marks a darker, blackgaze-inspired evolution of the band’s signature hurdy-gurdy-driven sound. Preceded by three well-received singles, the album has already drawn attention from outlets including Metal Hammer UK.Polish metal act LYRRE have officially released their sophomore album, ‚Nothing Is Promised‘, marking a significant creative step forward from their 2023 debut. Founded by Michalina Malisz, former hurdy-gurdy player of ELUVEITIE, and her husband Piotr Martuś, LYRRE have built a reputation for weaving the raw, organic texture of the hurdy-gurdy into a framework of dark metal riffs, blast beats, and ethereal vocals. On this second record, the band pushes that sound into bleaker, more atmospheric territory, drawing clear influence from the blackgaze genre.

The album was preceded by three singles — ‚Orchard‘, ‚Still Human‘, and ‚Ephemeral‘ — each of which helped build anticipation for the full-length release. ‚Nothing Is Promised‘ spans seven tracks, with lyrics rooted in Greek mythology and themes of transience, doubt, and ultimately, resilience. The album’s emotional arc moves through melancholy and heaviness before arriving at a message of hope.

Produced by Piotr Martuś and Michalina Malisz, with additional production by Przemysław Nowak on two tracks, the record was mixed and mastered by Nowak. Artwork was handled by Adam Bohun Strzelczyk, while music videos were directed by Jan Gajewski. Band photography is credited to Justyna Kamińska.

Supported by international promotional campaigns and a series of music videos, ‚Nothing Is Promised‘ has attracted coverage from prominent outlets such as Metal Hammer UK. LYRRE continue to tour across Poland and Europe, expanding their reach well beyond their home market. The album is available now across all major platforms.
