Swiss melodic hard rock artist CAROLINE BREITLER has released her debut single „Sentinel“ under El Puerto Records, produced alongside Alessandro Del Vecchio. According to CAROLINE BREITLER herself, the title carries deep conceptual weight: „The title refers to a guardian, an invisible, higher energy — a kind of spirit animal or fateful presence that accompanies us, guides us, and sometimes even pushes us in a new direction. ‚Sentinel‘ speaks to this feeling of being guided: in good times and in difficult moments alike. It’s the idea of a force you can rely on, even when the path ahead seems unclear.“
Musically, „Sentinel“ delivers on that vision with considerable force. A driving rhythmic pulse anchors the track throughout, evoking a sense of forward momentum and urgency, while the soundscape periodically expands into sweeping, atmospheric heights. The blend of intensity, melodic accessibility and cinematic depth makes the track an immediately arresting listen.
Behind CAROLINE BREITLER stands a seasoned band: Alain Schneble on guitars, Andreas Caplazi on keyboards and Matteo Valentino on drums. Together, they bring an explosive mix of melodic metal, rock and raw emotion to the material.
The live debut of „Sentinel“ is set for May 16, 2026 at the Melodic Rock Festival Rock’n’Loc in Markt Wald. A full-length album is expected to arrive in the fall of the same year.
