The 15-date run, billed as the ‚Solastalgia Over Europe MMXXVI‘ tour, will see UNREQVITED joining HERETOIR and NIDARE across a sweeping continent-wide itinerary spanning Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Switzerland, and Italy.
The tour kicks off on October 15 in Neunkirchen, Germany, and closes on October 29 in Paris, France, with notable stops including the Samhain Festival in Maastricht, the Tyrant Fest in Lille, and the Rotonde at Botanique in Brussels.
Mastermind 鬼 (Ghost), the sole creative force behind UNREQVITED, expressed enthusiasm for the undertaking: „I could hardly imagine a more fitting or meaningful line-up for our very first full run across the continent.“
The tour supports UNREQVITED’s seventh full-length album, ‚A Pathway to the Moon‘, released on February 7, 2025 via Prophecy Productions. The record marks a significant sonic evolution for the project, incorporating more prominent clean vocals, anthemic songwriting, and a live-performance-oriented approach — a deliberate departure from the largely instrumental soundscapes of previous releases.
Described as sitting at the intersection of blackgaze, post-rock, and post-black metal, ‚A Pathway to the Moon‘ builds upon the foundations laid by earlier albums while pushing UNREQVITED closer to traditional song-based rock and metal territory. The album is available on hardcover CD artbook, black vinyl LP, and limited ash-grey marbled vinyl LP.
