The Finnish atmospheric metal band Beyond Seventh Dimension released their critically acclaimed debut album ‚Tähtien ikuinen suru‚ on September 4th 2026 via Inverse Records. Now two months after the album release, the band unleashed a new music video for track Dawn of Extinction and it’s available here: https://youtu.be/Zprw4nX4W7A
The band comments:
„The visual narrative directly reflects the song’s theme—the final, scorching moment of the sun and the inevitable collapse that erases all of humanity. We wanted to capture the visual weight of our entire existence dissolving into the cosmic void.
The response to the album has been deeply moving, and it has been meaningful to see how thoroughly listeners have immersed themselves in its atmosphere. The album explores the fragility of existence and cosmic scale, and the feedback proves that this dark, melancholic soundscape has resonated with people just as intended.
There is already a wealth of new material in the works, along with plans to bring the project to the live stage.„
The album was originally intended for digital release only, but due to high demand, the band decided to produce a limited CD edition as well. The CD version is available through the band’s Bandcamp page.
BIOGRAPHY:
Beyond Seventh Dimension is an atmospheric metal project from Finland that started as a one-man instrumental project in 2025 and quickly escalated. Vocals were added to the concept right after the first song, and suddenly there was talk of an EP or a full-length album. Now there is an album, and there has also been talk of making a proper band out of this at some point, but time will tell.
