Swedish hard rock sensation NESTOR is set to release their first-ever live album, ‚Live at Gothenburg Film Studios‘, on August 14, 2026 via Napalm Records. The AOR-influenced band captures their explosive stage energy across 16 tracks drawn from their celebrated catalogue. Pre-orders are now available.NESTOR, the Swedish hard rock outfit that stormed back onto the scene with their 2021 comeback, has announced their debut live album, ‚Live at Gothenburg Film Studios‘, due August 14, 2026 via Napalm Records. Originally founded in 1989, NESTOR made an immediate impact with their return, earning a nomination at the Swedish Grammis Awards for their debut record ‚Kids in a Ghost Town‘. Their critically acclaimed follow-up, ‚Teenage Rebel‘ (2024), cemented their international standing, charting at number 12 on the Official German Charts and number 19 in Sweden, while accumulating millions of streams across digital platforms.
The live album documents NESTOR at a creative peak, showcasing the band’s arena-ready anthems, rock ballads, and finely crafted AOR sensibilities in a raw, unfiltered setting. Highlights include electrifying live renditions of ‚Firesign‘ and ‚On The Run‘ from the debut record, as well as the singalong title track ‚Teenage Rebel‘. Singer Tobias Gustavsson notes that the recording captures the human imperfections that distinguish live performance from studio work, offering fans a different dimension of what NESTOR represents.
The 16-track release will be available on double LP in multiple variants, including a strictly limited Marbled Translucent Reptile pressing exclusive to the Napalm Records mailorder, a Solid Red double LP, and a CD plus DVD digisleeve edition. NESTOR, who have shared stages with legends such as Kiss and Europe and headlined shows in Japan, continue their festival run through summer 2026 across Finland, Germany, and Sweden.
