Motörhead release „Leavin‘ Here,“ the second single and accompanying music video from their upcoming album „The Manticore Tapes,“ which will be released on June 27. The music video for „Leavin‘ Here“ is an explosive, wild mixed-media experience that combines unique model characters and scenes with archive footage of the band. „The Manticore Tapes“ was originally recorded in 1976 and contains previously unreleased recordings by Motörhead’s classic „Three Amigos“ lineup.

In 1976, one year after the band was formed, Motörhead’s groundbreaking lineup was set. During Motörhead’s so-called „Three Amigos“ era, Lemmy (bass/vocals), Fast Eddie Clarke (guitar), and Phil „Philthy Animal“ Taylor (drums) joined forces and began their extraordinary journey to the top of the hard rock elite.

In August 1976, the band met at Emerson, Lake and Palmer’s legendary Manticore Studio in Fulham to rehearse and present the new lineup. There they recorded together for the very first time, and now, 49 years later, this long-lost tape has resurfaced, been dusted off, and restored to its former glory to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the pioneering hard rock band.
„The Manticore Tapes“ will be available as a deluxe expanded book pack with a double LP and a 7″ single, as a single LP, on CD, and digitally.
