ALESTORM are back with the first single from their upcoming album The Thunderfist Chronicles, out June 20, 2025 via Napalm Records!
„Frozen Piss 2“ delivers rousing riffs, a sing-along chorus and plenty of keytar action as well as the pirate madness for which ALESTORM are loved and celebrated by their fans. The track is released together with a new official music video that captures the chaos that is typical for ALESTORM.
The Thunderfist Chronicles is released as the follow-up to the epic seventh studio album Seventh Rum of a Seventh Rum, which reached #7 on the German album charts and #5 on the US Current Hard Music and Top New Artist Albums charts. Fittingly, the eighth studio album – The Thunderfist Chronicles – comprises eight new anthems, packed with wild, shanty-driven melodies and delightfully absurd lyrics that take the metal of the Seven Seas to a whole new level of profundity.
After the release of last year’s Voyage of the Dead Marauder EP and extensive touring, the band is well prepared for their next adventure. The Scottish pirate metal legends have been a staple of the metal scene for years and are known for turning any venue into a raging pirate party – celebrated by the fans and recognized by the critics.
So raise your tankards for the new album The Thunderfist Chronicles and join ALESTORM on their wildest adventure yet – louder, crazier and rowdier than ever!Christopher Bowes says about „Frozen Piss 2“:“‚Frozen Piss 2‘ is the first part of a trilogy of songs on the new album that together tell an epic story – about a cursed treasure born from the forgotten Sumerian gods and hidden beneath the streets of Bournemouth.
Together with ‚The Storm‘ and ‚Mega-Supreme Treasure of the Eternal Thunderfist‘, the overall picture is one that reveals ancient, unspeakable knowledge – and will etch your brains out.Enjoy the riffs, the dogs – and the fantastic guest vocals by Shiori Sasaki!“ Watch the official video for „Frozen Piss 2“ here:
