The song comes from the current album Night is Calling, which was released on 3. July on Napalm Records and infected the top 10 of the German charts. Thus, the band, led by mastermind and singer Felix Heldt – better known as Dr. Dead – continued their own trend. The predecessor The Dead Don’t Die (2024) also stormed the charts. Together with his zombies Tommy Kemp (guitar), Patient 0 (bass) and Victor Hilltop (drums), Dr. Dead also conquered the largest stages in Europe with DOMINUM. Whether on tour with icons like Bruce Dickinson, Avantasia, Battle Beast and Peyton Parrish, at huge festivals or at their own headliner shows: The undead spectacle has long proven its strengths!
And DOMINUM continue directly: The headliner tour for Night is Calling starts at the end of November. Until shortly before Christmas, the modern metal starters travel through Europe and Great Britain together with THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA and EDGE OF PARADISE. All dates are below.
Dr. Dead on „Thriller“:
“Hand on heart: Before Michael Jackson, zombies had quite an image problem. They were extras in some cheap B-movies, walked around haphazardly, ate miserable and caught a shotgun charge in their face after twenty minutes at the latest.
In the eighties, a man in a red leather jacket showed us that this valuable part of our society – the zombies – has more to offer. Suddenly they danced to primetime on MTV. Michael Jackson has probably done more for the undead than any politician. So Michael has a good one with us. And because a thank-you card is a bit too joyless, we do it our way: We miss ‚Thriller‘ a lot of heavy riffing.
And just briefly: Our security on the Night is Calling tour is briefed. Those who move forward in ‚Thriller‘ are officially released as dinner.
