TALIA HOIT drops new single ‚Again‘ ahead of sophomore album

TALIA HOIT has unveiled her new video single ‚Again‘, offering a compelling glimpse into the sonic direction of her forthcoming album ‚When The Skies Fall‘. The track blends symphonic grandeur with a heavier rhythmic backbone, showcasing her distinctive vocal contrast against a wall of sound. The album is set for release on 28 August 2026.TALIA HOIT continues to build anticipation for her sophomore album ‚When The Skies Fall‘ with the release of her new video single ‚Again‘, digitally available from 24 July 2026. The track marks a clear evolution from her debut album ‚Oceans‘, trading some of its predecessor’s compositional complexity for a more dynamic, groove-driven approach. The rhythm section is given considerably more room to breathe, laying down a dense, moshpit-ready foundation against which TALIA HOIT’s unmistakable voice operates as a striking counterpoint. The result is a compelling duality of crushing weight and melancholic tenderness.

The accompanying music video, created in collaboration with J Angel Visuals, was produced through an elaborate process in which every set piece was meticulously designed and constructed from scratch. The visual narrative depicts an apocalyptic wasteland that mirrors the inner state of the character portrayed, translating TALIA HOIT’s original vision into something vivid and otherworldly.

Lyrically, ‚Again‘ explores the lasting impact of painful experiences and the irreversibility of lost innocence, inviting listeners to draw connections to their own lives. ‚I try to find the universal experience in things and process feelings through metaphor and poetry,‘ TALIA HOIT explains. ‚That allows listeners to connect the music to their own lives and find personal meaning without my input.‘

The single also serves as the thematic cornerstone of the album, with the title ‚When The Skies Fall‘ drawn directly from its lyrics. The ten-track record is described as an emotionally open journey through transformation, longing, and existential unrest, all embedded within a rich symphonic metal soundscape. Pre-saves are now available.
