German heavy metal legends ACCEPT have unveiled a powerhouse re-recording of their anthem ‚Balls to the Wall‘, featuring Rob Halford, Matthias Jabs, Rex Brown and Jason Bowld. The track serves as the second single from the upcoming anniversary album ‚Teutonic Titans 1976-2026‘, set for release on September 4, 2026 via Napalm Records.German heavy metal pioneers ACCEPT are marking five decades of unrelenting power with a monumental anniversary release. The band has dropped a new single in the form of a re-recorded version of their signature anthem ‚Balls to the Wall‘, enlisting none other than Rob Halford — widely known as the Metal God — alongside SCORPIONS guitar icon Matthias Jabs, bassist Rex Brown and drummer Jason Bowld. The track is the second preview of the forthcoming album ‚Teutonic Titans 1976-2026‘, produced, mixed and mastered by Zeuss, due September 4, 2026 on Napalm Records.

The full album is a sweeping celebration of ACCEPT’s fifty-year legacy, featuring 19 re-recorded classics drawn from their early catalogue — spanning from ‚I’m a Rebel‘ (1980) through to ‚Eat the Heat‘ (1989) — with no fewer than 50 guest musicians contributing across the record. Led by guitarist Wolf Hoffmann, the project assembles an extraordinary roster of metal royalty, including Phil Anselmo, Kirk Hammett, Billy Sheehan, Tobias Forge, Billy Corgan, Sebastian Bach, Gary Holt, Chuck Billy, Joe Lynn Turner and many more.

Hoffmann commented on the ‚Balls to the Wall‘ collaboration: ‚Rob is the Metal God. More than that I don’t need to say. When we knew he was on board, it was the obvious choice to give him Balls to the Wall, because it is simply the most fitting choice imaginable.‘ The album is set to be released in a wide array of formats, including deluxe box sets, gatefold vinyl editions and digital. ACCEPT will also embark on an extensive European tour in late 2026 to support the release.
