The record documents what the band describes as the largest concert of their career, performed before an audience of over 750,000 at the Pol’and’Rock Festival on the airfield of Czaplinek-Broczyno in Poland — a festival that has held cult status for more than three decades.
Fresh from the critical success of ‚Mid Death Crisis‘, which drew praise from Metal Hammer, Loudwire and Blabbermouth, WEDNESDAY 13 delivered a set spanning their entire catalogue. The 15-track album pulls from Murderdolls classics such as ‚Summertime Suicide‘ and ‚197666‘, solo highlights including ‚Look What The Bats Dragged In‘ and ‚Bad Things‘ from ‚Transylvania 90210‘, ‚Too Fast For Blood‘ from ‚The Dixie Dead‘, ‚Good Day To Be A Bad Guy‘ from ‚Horrifier‘, and multiple cuts from ‚Mid Death Crisis‘, among them ‚In Misery‘, ‚When The Devil Commands‘ and ‚Rotting Away‘.
WEDNESDAY 13 commented: „This is not just a live recording in front of a few people — this is the biggest show we have ever played. Over 750,000 people were there, and we delivered one of the most unforgettable WEDNESDAY 13 concerts of our career.“
The album will be available as a Digipak CD, 2LP Translucent Red, 2LP Cross White/Red (limited to 200 copies worldwide), 2LP White Label (limited to 50 copies worldwide), and as a digital album. Coinciding with the release, WEDNESDAY 13 will embark on the Shocktober Blood USA Tour, kicking off September 23 in San Jose, California, and concluding on Halloween night in Denver, Colorado.
