PROPHECY FEST 2026 opens press accreditation for September cave event

PROPHECY FEST 2026 has officially opened its press accreditation window, with applications accepted from May 7 through the final deadline of August 14, 2026. The three-day event returns to the legendary Balve Cave in Germany from September 3 to 5, featuring a stacked lineup of dark and forward-thinking acts. Media representatives worldwide are invited to apply online, with a maximum of two passes available per outlet.PROPHECY FEST has announced the opening of press accreditation for its 2026 edition, scheduled to take place from September 3 to 5 at the iconic Balve Cave in the Sauerland region of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Journalists and photographers wishing to cover the event must submit their applications between May 7 and the hard deadline of August 14, 2026, via the official online portal. Late submissions will not be considered.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, and each media outlet is permitted a maximum of two accredited representatives. All registrations must be completed individually and under the press/media category at the designated accreditation link. Organizers note that due to the nature of the venue, no dedicated press area will be available on site.

The 2026 lineup reads as a who’s who of the dark and extreme underground. Confirmed acts include TIAMAT, MISÞYRMING, EMPYRIUM, DORNENREICH, SECRETS OF THE MOON, FARSOT, KLIMT 1918, CAMERATA MEDIOLANENSE, SPIRITUAL FRONT, SLEEPING PULSE, NEUN WELTEN, THE 3RD AND THE MORTAL, and many others. Several special performances have been announced, among them TIAMAT performing the landmark album Wildhoney in full, MISÞYRMING and Nergal tackling BEHEMOTH’s Sventevith, and EMPYRIUM celebrating 30 years of A Wintersunset. SECRETS OF THE MOON reunite to mark 20 years of Antithesis, while SLEEPING PULSE will make their live debut at the festival.

Three-day passes are priced at 149 euros plus a 10 percent service charge, with comfort supplements and camping options also available through the official ticket shop.
