METAL.ROCKS Launches Free 24/7 Channel on Smart TVs Across Europe and MENA

METAL.ROCKS, the dedicated heavy music television channel operated by UCM.ONE in partnership with PLAION PICTURES, is expanding its free 24/7 broadcast to 16 European countries as well as Egypt, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates. The channel is now available via Samsung TV Plus and several other Smart TV platforms, marking a significant step in bringing metal music back to the living room screen. At a time when music television has largely disappeared from the broadcast landscape and on-demand streaming platforms dominate media consumption, METAL.ROCKS is making a bold move to reclaim the television screen for heavy music fans worldwide.

Following a successful initial launch, the channel — operated by UCM.ONE in collaboration with PLAION PICTURES — has now expanded its reach to 16 European countries, as well as Egypt, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates. A newly signed agreement with Samsung has made METAL.ROCKS available on Samsung TV Plus (channel 4745 in the EU), significantly broadening the platform’s global audience. The channel is also accessible via Waipu, Rakuten TV (EU), Plex (international), and Pluto (Spain).

METAL.ROCKS offers a professionally curated 24-hour programme covering the full spectrum of heavy music, from melodic hard rock and classic heavy metal through to the most extreme forms of the genre. Content includes music videos, live concerts, music documentaries, special features, and future original productions such as band interviews and exclusive shows.

„Music television once played a crucial role in helping fans discover new artists and connect with their favourite bands,“ said Patrick Walch, founder of METAL.ROCKS. „On-demand platforms offer unlimited choice, but they often lack the thrill of discovery. METAL.ROCKS combines the best of both worlds by offering a carefully curated television experience dedicated exclusively to rock and metal music.“

With traditional music TV continuing its retreat from the airwaves, METAL.ROCKS positions itself as a long-overdue destination for fans of heavy music — free, always on, and dedicated entirely to the genre.
