Swedish progressive metal veterans EVERGREY have unveiled their final pre-release single ‚A Burning Flame‘, featuring DARK TRANQUILLITY frontman Mikael Stanne. The track features a remarkable guest appearance from Mikael Stanne, known for his work with DARK TRANQUILLITY, THE HALO EFFECT, GRAND CADAVER, and CEMETERY SKYLINE, who joins EVERGREY frontman Tom S. Englund in what the band describes as a deeply personal vocal exchange between two icons of the Gothenburg metal scene.
Englund spoke of the collaboration with evident pride, noting that the two vocalists allowed each other’s melodies to guide the direction of the song, resulting in what he calls a dark but profoundly beautiful conversation, raw and full of life. The single encapsulates the lyrical depth, progressive sophistication, and emotional intensity that have defined EVERGREY across more than three decades.
The album ‚Architects Of A New Weave‘ arrives just days before EVERGREY take the stage as special guests to IRON MAIDEN on select dates of the ‚Run For Your Lives World Tour‘. The twelve-track record was produced by Tom S. Englund and Vikram Shankar, and mixed by Adam ‚Nolly‘ Getgood. It is available in multiple formats including a strictly limited 2-LP Gatefold Deluxe Edition.
In November 2026, EVERGREY embark on an extensive European and UK headline tour in support of the new record, with dates spanning Sweden, Germany, the UK, France, Italy, and beyond. A North American run alongside HAMMERFALL is also confirmed for September and October 2026.
