Faroese artist EIVØR has released her haunting new single ‚Healer‘, marking her first new music since the 2024 album ENN. Alongside the release, she has announced an extensive North American tour in October and November 2026, followed by a European headline run in spring 2027.EIVØR, the uniquely talented Faroese artist whose work bridges ancient Nordic tradition and contemporary cinematic sound, has unveiled a striking new single titled ‚Healer‘. The track marks her first release since the critically received 2024 album ENN, arriving after an extended period of near-continuous international touring that took her across Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand.
Set within a dark, atmospheric sound world, ‚Healer‘ blends a distorted piano-led bass line with cinematic strings and ambient textures. Driven by a steady, pulsing rhythm and carried by EIVØR’s raw, expressive vocals, the track moves between fragility and release, exploring themes of self-worth, resilience and inner transformation. EIVØR describes the song as a conversation with her younger self, holding space for both doubt and quiet strength.
The accompanying music video, directed by Faroese filmmaker Katrin Joensen-Næs, is shot entirely in black and white and unfolds around two mirrored figures, exploring identity and inner dialogue through stark, symbolic visual language. The film is inspired by the idea that time heals all wounds.
Alongside the single announcement, EIVØR has revealed an ambitious touring schedule. A North American run begins on 28 October 2026 in New York and concludes on 22 November in San Diego, taking in 19 cities across the United States and Canada. A European headline tour follows in early 2027, opening in Copenhagen on 24 February and closing in Gothenburg on 27 March, with stops including Paris Olympia, London O2 Forum Kentish Town and Berlin Huxleys Neue Welt. Now signed to Nuclear Blast, EIVØR enters a new chapter with music that is more direct and emotionally immediate than ever before.
