Swedish rock legends EUROPE are back with their twelfth studio album ‚Come This Madness‘, set for release on 25 September 2026 via Silver Lining Music. The band has unveiled the first single ‚One On One‘, marking a powerful return after a nine-year studio absence. After nine years away from the studio, EUROPE are back with a vengeance. The Swedish hard rock icons have announced their twelfth studio album, ‚Come This Madness‘, due for release on 25 September 2026 via Silver Lining Music and Hell & Back Recordings. To mark the announcement, the band has released the lead single ‚One On One‘, accompanied by a striking music video directed by renowned director Patric Ullaeus and featuring acclaimed actor Peter Stormare (Fargo, The Big Lebowski, Minority Report) in a raw and emotionally compelling performance.
Built around a driving bass riff and sweeping melodies, ‚One On One‘ bridges the classic EUROPE sound with a fresh, contemporary edge. Vocalist Joey Tempest describes it as one of his favourite tracks on the record, noting that the song reflects the realities of the present day while retaining the irresistible energy of the band’s early work.

‚Come This Madness‘ was recorded at the RMV Studio in Stockholm, founded by Benny and Ludvig Andersson, and produced by Tom Dalgety, known for his work with Ghost, Rammstein, Pixies, and Opeth. Dalgety became deeply embedded in the songwriting and recording process, effectively functioning as a sixth band member. The album features guest appearances from Tobias Forge of Ghost and Michael Åkerfeldt of OPETH, and was mixed by legendary engineer Mike Fraser, whose credits include AC/DC, Metallica, and Van Halen. The artwork was created by Storm Studios, responsible for iconic visuals for Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and Muse.
Alongside the album release, EUROPE will embark on The Final Countdown 40th Anniversary Tour, kicking off on 30 September in Glasgow, with European dates running through October 2026, including stops in Zurich, Vienna, Stuttgart, and Berlin. The band will also appear at Wacken Open Air on 30 July 2026.
