CHIEMSEE REGGAE SUMMER FESTIVAL Returns After Ten Years With MARTERIA, BURNING SPEAR, KY-MANI MARLEY & More

The legendary Chiemsee Reggae Summer Festival makes its long-awaited comeback from June 26–28, 2026, in Übersee am Chiemsee — and tickets are nearly sold out. After a ten-year hiatus, the CHIEMSEE REGGAE SUMMER FESTIVAL is set to reclaim its place as one of Germany’s most beloved reggae gatherings. Taking place from June 26 to 28, 2026, in Übersee am Chiemsee, the festival returns to the breathtaking backdrop of the Chiemgauer Alps for a weekend steeped in Love, Peace & Unity.

The 2026 edition promises an impressive lineup of over 30 artists spanning reggae, dancehall, and hip hop across two stages. Hip hop heavyweight MARTERIA and reggae legend BURNING SPEAR headline the event, joined by an extraordinary cast including KY-MANI MARLEY — son of reggae icon Bob Marley — as well as CAPLETON, PATRICE, SPICE, and ANTHONY B, among many others.

Organisers have been clear about their vision: this is not a recreation of the large-scale events of the past, but rather a more intimate, community-driven festival experience. With shorter distances between stages, a manageable site layout, and a cap of 10,000 tickets, the aim is to revive the original spirit that made the festival so beloved in the first place.

The news for those still hoping to attend is urgent — festival tickets with standard camping are already sold out. Day tickets are still available from 95 euros, and a limited number of comfort camping packages remain. The full programme, including the day-by-day artist schedule, can be found at https://www.chiemsee-reggae.de/programm.html. Tickets are also available via Eventim and München Ticket. Please note that entry is restricted to guests aged 18 and over.
