MOON SHOT are back with a vengeance! The Finnish rock outfit have unleashed their explosive new single „Hammer Of Changes“, the latest preview of their upcoming album ‚Thunderlust‘, set for release on September 18.
MOON SHOT have released their powerful new single „Hammer Of Changes“, serving as the next taste of their forthcoming album ‚Thunderlust‘, due out on September 18. Driven by raw energy and a massive anthemic chorus, the track contrasts vulnerable, melancholic verses with explosive sing-along refrains, delivering a dynamic and gripping listening experience. Lyrically, the song deals with the inner conflict between conformity and self-determination. The recurring line „black or white“ represents the constant pressure to choose sides and fit into predefined roles – but instead of giving in, the narrator consciously chooses change, uncompromising and bold. Lines like „I raise my hand, I break the cage“ transform doubt into resolve, with the „Hammer of Changes“ becoming a symbol for courage, empowerment and the will to tear down barriers – both inner and outer.
Frontman Ville explains: „If you’ve ever been in a relationship where you didn’t feel comfortable, worked at a company where you felt like an outsider, or had to listen to discussions you didn’t agree with – this song is for you. […] When the point of no return is reached and it’s time to act.“
Guitarist and lead songwriter Jussi adds: „Hammer of Changes is a powerful yet sensitive uptempo rock song, perfectly suited for rock radio. […] Vulnerable, tender and melancholic verses meet heavy, explosive sing-along choruses.“
With their previous single „No Walls“ already surpassing 300,000 views on YouTube, MOON SHOT continue to build momentum ahead of ‚Thunderlust‘. Together, both singles paint a clear picture of what the album stands for: honesty, intensity and fearless self-expression.
