BLACK RABBIT Announce New EP “Warren Of Necrosis ” -New Single “Initium Finis” out now – EP drops December 10, 2025

Dutch concept-driven death metal band Black Rabbit return with a dark new chapter in their expanding mythos. The upcoming EP “Warren of Necrosis” is set for release on December 10, 2025, and the first single “Initium Finis” is now available on all streaming platforms – complete with an official music video watch here:

“Initium Finis” offers a twisted reimagining of Genesis — creation born from darkness rather than divinity. Light deceives, innocence decays, and corruption shapes existence itself. The result: a powerful, cinematic descent into chaos, setting the tone for the EP’s deeper narrative.

A Concept of Faith, Betrayal, and Transformation

At the heart of Warren of Necrosis lies the legend of the Black Rabbit — once a devoted priest, now a cursed immortal consumed by his own lust for power. Cast out by the god he once served, he forges his own blasphemous empire beneath the earth: the “Warren of Necrosis,” a labyrinth where the condemned feed his eternal hunger.

Musically, the EP expands Black Rabbit’s already distinctive sound — blending death, thrash, and blackened elements with ritualistic atmospheres, ethnic textures, and haunting melodies. Each song unfolds as a chapter of corruption, sacrifice, and spiritual decay.

A Complete Artistic Vision

Black Rabbit’s creative concept extends far beyond the music itself. Each release is designed as a multimedia experience, featuring handcrafted artwork, stage design, and symbolic live performances that merge concert and ceremony. The band’s ritualistic stage presence — smoke, relics, and candlelight — transforms their shows into immersive storytelling experiences.

Following their acclaimed releases Hypnosomnia (2023) and Chronolysis (2025), Warren of Necrosis explores the origins of their mythos — the birth of the entity that embodies the band’s dark philosophy.

Once you enter the Warren, there is no return.
