With their self-titled ninth studio album, KISSIN’ DYNAMITE open a new chapter while bringing an important era of the band to a close. Released on September 18, 2026, “KISSIN’ DYNAMITE” is the band’s final album with vocalist Hannes Braun.
The album was created in response to the fans, who wanted one final studio release with Braun following the announcement of his departure. The result combines six brand-new songs with seven newly recorded versions of tracks from the band’s early years. The classic material has been reworked with Braun’s now more mature voice, while the new songs continue the band’s established arena-rock approach.
The album opens with “Glory Days”, reflecting on the band’s shared history, friendship and journey together. “I Salute You” features Saltatio Mortis, while further guest appearances include Amaranthe on “Out In The Rain”, Anna Brunner on “Lie For Me”, Primal Fear and DragonForce guitarist Sam Totman on “Steel Of Swabia”, and Eklipse on “Against The World”.
Themes of farewell, togetherness and new beginnings run through several of the album’s songs. Titles such as “I Salute You”, “I’ll Be” and “Good In Goodbye” address the connection between the band and its fans as well as the upcoming change within KISSIN’ DYNAMITE.
At the same time, the album remains firmly rooted in the band’s musical identity: powerful rock hooks, arena-ready anthems and a combination of new material with reimagined songs from their early catalogue.
With “KISSIN’ DYNAMITE”, the band is also releasing an album completely independently for the first time. Their own Kissin’ Dynamite Records handles the release, with distribution through Kontor New Media.
The self-titled album therefore represents more than just another chapter in the band’s discography. It marks the end of an era with Hannes Braun while simultaneously opening the door to whatever comes next for KISSIN’ DYNAMITE.
