The Florida and California-based project wastes no time establishing its sonic intent, drawing heavily from the mechanized precision of FEAR FACTORY and the corrosive grind of MINISTRY to construct a track that is both physically punishing and atmospherically suffocating.
The single features a guest appearance by Adrian Erlandsson, the acclaimed drummer known for his work with AT THE GATES, CRADLE OF FILTH, PARADISE LOST, and THE HAUNTED, whose explosive performance adds considerable firepower to an already relentless recording. Vocoder vocals inject an unsettling, inhuman quality throughout, while textural synthesizers build an inescapable dystopian landscape beneath layers of distorted heaviness. A deliberate tempo shift in the bridge offers a brief melodic contrast before the track reasserts its mechanized dominance.
The band describes the song as a reflection on contemporary social decay: the lyrics address anger and disillusionment with modern power structures, framing the collapse of truth and empathy not as a sudden rupture but as a slow, grinding process of erosion. The single was produced, mixed and mastered by Richii Wainwright.
Formed in 2022, EMBERS OF DAWN blend industrial, gothic, melodic death metal and cyber-metal influences, citing PAIN, DARK TRANQUILLITY, RAMMSTEIN, STATIC-X, ARCH ENEMY and TYPE O NEGATIVE among their reference points. Infernal Culture will mark their most ambitious statement to date.
