SOLACE drop ‚Spiral Will‘ video and kick off European tour

New Jersey stoner doom veterans SOLACE have unveiled a new music video for ‚Spiral Will‘, the latest advance single from their forthcoming fifth album ‚Fading Failing Ruin‘, due July 3, 2026. The band simultaneously launches a European tour beginning May 7 in Paris.New Jersey stoner doom outfit SOLACE are making their presence felt ahead of a landmark release year, dropping a new music video for ‚Spiral Will‘, the second advance single taken from their highly anticipated fifth full-length ‚Fading Failing Ruin‘, scheduled for release on July 3, 2026 via Magnetic Eye Records.

The track arrives as SOLACE prepare to celebrate their 30th anniversary as a band, a milestone that lends particular weight to the new album. Vocalist Justin Goins has offered a vivid conceptual framework for the record, describing it as the spiritual continuation of predecessor ‚The Brink‘. Where that album depicted the final thoughts of a drowning man, ‚Fading Failing Ruin‘ follows his spirit into an alien afterworld, caught between descent and the possibility of transcendence.

The nine-track album was recorded by Eric Rachel at Bulletproof Music Studio in Hazlet, NJ and The Pussycat Club in Milford, NJ, with Rachel also handling mix and mastering duties at Trax East in South River, NJ. Cover art and layout were handled by Paul Vismara.

SOLACE trace their roots to 1996, rising from the ashes of GODSPEED, who notably appeared on the ‚Nativity in Black‘ tribute alongside Bruce Dickinson and toured with CATHEDRAL and BLACK SABBATH. Their debut ‚Further‘ arrived in 2000, followed by ‚Thirteen‘ in 2003, ‚A.D.‘ in 2010, and ‚The Brink‘ in 2019.

To coincide with the single release, SOLACE are embarking on a European tour that opens May 7, 2026 in Paris, supporting HERMANO on several dates, before appearances at Desertfest Berlin and Desertfest London, and a run of UK club shows. US dates follow later in 2026.
