DEVOID OF THOUGHT Announce Self-Titled Sophomore Album for April 2026

Italian death metal quartet DEVOID OF THOUGHT will release their self-titled sophomore album on April 24th, 2026, via Unorthodox Emanations, the death metal division of Avantgarde Music. The record marks the band’s tenth anniversary and pushes into darker, more abstract cosmic territory. Preorders are available now via Bandcamp.Italian death metal quartet DEVOID OF THOUGHT has announced the release of their self-titled sophomore album, due on April 24th, 2026, through Unorthodox Emanations, the death metal imprint of Avantgarde Music. Available on CD, LP, and digital formats, the record arrives as the band celebrates a decade of existence.

Formed in 2016, DEVOID OF THOUGHT built their reputation steadily through a series of demos, EPs, and a notable split release shared with UNDEATH and INTO COFFIN. Their 2021 debut full-length, ‚Outer World Graves,‘ issued via Everlasting Spew Records, established them as a serious force within the underground death metal scene. The years that followed were devoted to relentless touring: the band appeared at Frantic Fest and Brutal Assault, completed multiple European tours alongside ARTIFICIAL BRAIN and AD NAUSEAM, and provided direct support for BEHERIT, NECROT, and SUFFERING HOUR.

The new self-titled record represents both an artistic evolution and a conceptual departure. Drawing on the sonic DNA of TIMEGHOUL, BLOOD INCANTATION, VOIVOD, and INCANTATION, DEVOID OF THOUGHT constructs a sprawling, otherworldly narrative centered on panspermic cosmology, entropic consciousness, and life mutating beyond recognizable form. The album’s five tracks — ‚Panspermic Bio-Dome,‘ ‚Chronos,‘ ‚Putrescent Mireborn,‘ ‚Oblivionauts,‘ and ‚Entheogenic Ritual‘ — trace a journey from cosmic dissolution to strange, unprecedented rebirth.

Preorders for the DEVOID OF THOUGHT self-titled album are available now through Bandcamp at avantgardemusic.bandcamp.com.
