The Boston rock veterans are heading back to Europe in spring 2026, and if you’ve ever seen them live, you already know what that means: no safety nets, no filler, just a band that plays like everything’s on the line. Because for Lansdowne, it always is.
From war zones to festival stages
Lansdowne’s story reads less like a band bio and more like a survival manual. Since 2006, Jon Ricci (vocals), Shaun Lichtenstein (lead guitar/vocals), Glenn Mungo (drums), Josh Waterman (guitar/vocals), and Mike LaRoche (bass) have ground through DIY tours, flood-stranded van rides through Texas, and USO performances for U.S. troops in Afghanistan — dodging mortar fire included. They’ve opened for Halestorm, Pop Evil, and Creed. They’ve charted in the Top 5 on European rock radio. They’ve played Graspop on the main stage.
None of it came easy. That’s exactly the point.
Medicine, momentum — and what comes next
Their 2022 album Medicine marked a turning point — emotionally raw, sonically evolved, and their most successful release to date. Singles from that record landed Top 20 radio placements across multiple continents, and the album’s catalog has since been picked up by brands including the NFL and MTV.
Now, under Berlin-based Odyssey Music Network and booked through European powerhouse Seaside Entertainment, Lansdowne enters a new chapter. Their 2025 single „Make It a Lie“ — a gut-punch of a track about the slow collapse of a toxic relationship — hit 300,000+ streams in its first month alone. A full-length follow-up is expected in 2026.
