The news caused quite a stir a few days ago: Die Toten Hosen have announced the release of their final studio album for May 29, 2026. But there’s no need to worry: Die Toten Hosen are still alive, and they’re still damn loud. Their new single “Die Show muss weitergehen” is a driving up-tempo track that simply puts you in a good mood.
“In these times, when many feel that the world is going downhill, we want to counteract the gloomy mood,” says Campino. “But the song is also meant as a tribute to all those who live by the motto: fall down seven times, get back up eight.”
“Die Show muss weitergehen” is the first single from the new Hosen album “Trink aus, wir müssen gehen!” plus the bonus album “Alles muss raus!”, both set for release in May. Campino: “The song is meant to be a little teaser for everything we have coming up in the near future. We’re really excited that things are finally getting started.”

The album is being released as a limited and numbered deluxe triple-vinyl edition, limited to 19,820 copies, in a cardboard slipcase featuring “Trink aus, wir müssen gehen!” in a gatefold sleeve on transparent white 180g vinyl & a bonus album on orange-transparent 180g double vinyl in a gatefold sleeve plus a high-quality photo print autographed by the band, two 8-page booklets and printed inner sleeves, as a standard triple-vinyl edition in a high-quality gatefold sleeve, two 8-page booklets and printed inner sleeves, double CD, the limited first edition in an 8-page digipack with a 24-page and a 28-page booklet, as well as streaming and download.
