With „Thunderlust,“ Moon Shot is starting a new chapter in fall 2026—louder, bolder, and clearer than ever before. The band’s third studio album will be released in fall 2026 and marks the next big step for a group that is no longer searching for its path, but has found it.
They say the third album is the hardest. For Moon Shot, it was a process full of openness, scars – and ultimately absolute clarity. After the uncompromising force of The Power, the band has matured. The honeymoon is over. What remains is a close-knit unit, welded together by hundreds of club shows and festivals across Europe.
„Thunderlust“ stands for exactly this energy: a sound like a well-worn leather jacket – familiar, but more robust, with corners, edges, and attitude. Their „21st Century Rock“ doesn’t chase trends. Here, the power of classic rock meets the urgency of punk and the intensity of alternative – but always in the here and now.
Moon Shot are a live band through and through. On stage, their songs shed their skin and develop a life of their own that cannot be staged. If The Power was a sledgehammer, „Thunderlust“ is a journey: intense, colorful, and absolutely sincere.
