MEGADETH confirmed as Very Special Guests of IRON MAIDEN in Hanover, June 2, 2026 at the Heinz von Heiden Arena

IRON MAIDEN have confirmed MEGADETH as very special guests for their exclusive headline show in Germany in 2026. The concert will take place on June 2 at the Heinz von Heiden Arena in Hanover. Tickets are available here.

The announcement comes shortly after Megadeth announced that their upcoming self-titled album „Megadeth“ will be the last of their career. It will be released on January 23, 2026.

Iron Maiden’s arena show in Hanover is part of the next leg of their Run For Your Lives World Tour, which kicked off this year and is currently celebrating the band’s 50th anniversary and is already considered their most spectacular concert tour to date. In 2026, the band will also perform at numerous summer festivals, including Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park.

Megadeth was founded in 1983 by guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer Dave Mustaine. Over the course of their career, the band has sold over 50 million records worldwide, won a GRAMMY® Award (plus 12 additional nominations), appeared multiple times in the Top 10 of the German album charts, and thrilled legions of fans around the globe. Their discography includes genre classics such as the platinum-selling albums „Peace Sells… But Who’s Buying?“ (voted #8 on Rolling Stone’s „100 Greatest Metal Albums Of All Time“), „Rust In Peace“ and „Countdown To Extinction“.
