While the world was just celebrating one of the most romantic days of the year, Swiss hard rock icons GOTTHARD are now brutally tearing us out of hibernation – with the third single from their upcoming album „Stereo Crush“, which will be released on March 21, 2025 via RPM. Compared to their previous hit, ‚Thunder & Lightning‘, however, ‚Rusty Rose‘ is anything but a love song, as the song tells of dark experiences and feelings. Introduced by a relaxed Hammond melody, the song gains increasing power and gradually unfolds its full appeal. With ‚Rusty Rose‘, GOTTHARD once again demonstrate their love of heavy riffs and underline the fact that they are still at the forefront of the genre.
Guitarist Leo Leoni adds: „This song came about while jamming in the studio when Freddy suddenly brought this great open-string acoustic riff into play. We tried out all sorts of dynamics, spinning the rest around his idea. Lyrically, the track is about fighting cancer and not giving up and just never letting yourself and others down.“

Recorded, produced and mixed at Yellowhouse Studio together with GOTTHARD co-founder Leo Leoni and mastered by Sascha „Busy“ Bühren (TrueBusyness), „Stereo Crush“ already promises to set new standards.
The album release will be followed by an extensive European tour, in which GOTTHARD will also play seven concerts with Y&T as special guests as well as some shows in their homeland together with their compatriots KROKUS.
