Shamanic UK alternative metal collective CRIMSON VEIL are raising the anticipation level once again: As it draws ever closer to its debut album ‚Hex‘, which will be released on 20 September 2024 via Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM), the band conjures up a literally captivating single that fans won’t be able to put down, thanks in particular to its meaningful lyrics and accompanying music video. ‚
Ribbons‘ is deeply rooted in the dark heart of CRIMSON VEIL. The lines written by lead singer Mishkin, which tell the story of how too many options in life limit the radius of action rather than being helpful, do the rest.
CRIMSON VEIL explain the track: „We breathed life into this metaphorical piece with a music video characterised by Shibari elements, which shows us in various bondage positions – hanging, in the air and in cages. Musically, the eye-catching scenery is framed by dreamy, celestial metal sounds and delicate melodies that build to a powerful crescendo.“
